Synopsis: While Dr. Strange reviews his magical tomes, he is attacked by three apparitions sent by Mordo. He easily defeats them, but worries they portend great evil, so he consults the Eye of Agamotto to find where the source of this danger lies. He finds that it is in Tibet- near the Ancient One. But when he tries to find the Ancient One with his amulet, he cannot, and worries about his master's fate. Just then, Baron Mordo comes into the room and informs Strange that he has captured the Ancient One so he cannot help the good magician in his final battle with Mordo. Baron Mordo launches an all-out attack on Dr. Strange, who runs from him across the surface of the planet, trying to find the Ancient One and release him.

He finally finds him hidden in the Himalayas, and as he goes to free him, Mordo chortles that he will not be able to. But Dr. Strange turns the amazing power of his amulet on his enemy, and the arrogant magician tries hard to beat the light down, but cannot. Strange's power is too great and he chases Baron Mordo away, rescuing the wise Ancient One.
