CIVIL WAR: YOUNG AVENGERS & RUNAWAYS #1:

In Los Angeles, the Flag Smasher clashes with guards at the Santa Monica Farmer's Market. The Runaways help stop him, but wind up being chased by authorities for using super-powers without registering. The Young Avengers are on monitor duty at Captain America's safehouse and see the Runaways in trouble. They go to help them (against Cap's orders), and upon their arrival at the Runaways' cave hideout, accidentally hurt Molly.

CIVIL WAR: YOUNG AVENGERS & RUNAWAYS #2:

Maria Hill is shown Noh-Varr, the Kree super-soldier from the Cube, by his captor, the Warden of the Cube. The Young Avengers battle the Runaways, but eventually their squabble settles down and the Young Avengers try to convince their opposites to return with them to New York and join Cap's team. Vision and Victor realize they are connected together with similar technology. Novar is sent into the field by the Warden, on orders from SHIELD, to sniff out the Skrull in the Runaways group. He arrives at the Runaways' cave and announces his arrival by snapping Xavin's neck.

CIVIL WAR: YOUNG AVENGERS & RUNAWAYS #3:

Noh-varr takes on the Young Avengers and Runaways assembled outside the cave while the Warden watches on. He captures Hulkling, Wiccan Karolina, Xavin's body and Vision's arm, which is later extracted by the Warden the Cube. The remaining Young Avengers and Runaways combine to track down the Warden, who plans to "play around" with his captured extraterrestrials while they are in his custody.

At the Cube, the Warden is tinkering with his captives and Noh-Varr. The team of Young Avengers and Runaways penetrate the Cube, while Xavin revives himself and stops the Warden. They also stop Novahr and rewire him so he fights back against his captors at the Cube. The teams separate, with the Runaways stating that they are going to stay out of the Civil War. Novar sets up the "capital city of the new Kree empire."
