She takes a walk from the hotel where Peter has taken her and Aunt May after his break with Tony Stark and ponders about how she got cut from the cast of MacBeth because of security fears. Later, she meets Sue Storm, who talks to her about needing to get tougher and stronger to honor her commitment to Peter. Walking back home, she works through the many facets of her relationship even more. Shockingly, when she arrives back at the hotel, Peter is lying in his Aunt May's arms, his body a bloody, mangled mess.

May reminisces about the time when Peter was young and he broke his arm, which was a particularly momentous occasion for May, Ben and Peter.

The Rhino finds out that the guy who hired him - and was supposed to pay him for - the gig to beat up Spider-Man is now in jail, and at the same time, after finding out the Rhino was part of a plan put in play by the Chameleon, the Black Cat suits up to seek vengeance on behalf of her "Spider". As time goes on, Peter regains his strength and normalcy returns, but May is in a constant state of reflection over the pain she's helped him overcome through his life.

SENSATIONAL SPIDER-MAN #34: "Nothing Can Stop the Rhino"
22 pages + cover • March 2007

The Black Cat meets with May and MJ at the hotel hideout and tells them she's going to track down the Rhino for Peter. May doesn't necessarily like Felicia; MJ simply chalks her up as crazy. Black Cat reconnoiters with Puma who has tracked Rhino down to Battery Park. On the way to take on the Rhino, she reflects on her relationship with Spider-Man over the years and the lengths to which she has gone to appeal to him, as Peter Parker and Spider-Man.

She makes it to the park and stops the Rhino before he seriously hurts some passersby who are heckling him in his drunken stupor. Instead of fisticuffs, Felecia actually talks the Rhino into going home and laying low instead of continuing his rampage.
