Synopsis: Thor returns from the 23rd century and immediately heads to the office of his alter ego, Dr. Don Blake, where he falls asleep, exhausted from his recent trials. Jane Foster finds him slumped over on his lab table, and she affectionately moves him to his couch, where he rests again and has an uneasy sleep dreaming about his fight against Zarrko. Odin and Loki are watching from Asgard, and see that Thor has made no moves away from his mortal love, so Loki persuades Odin to send the Enchantress down to gain Thor's affections away from Midgard.

Loki travels to the home of the beautiful seductress, the Enchantress. He tells her of his plan, and she agrees, always wanting to attract Thor anyway. She heads to Midgard in an alluring red dress and furs, and traipses into Blake's office, right past Jane Foster. She sets Blake up for a scene in front of his nurse, suckering him into appearing to kiss her. Jane Foster runs away in a jealous fit, and Blake breaks her embrace and chases after his true love, Jane. The Enchantress is shocked that somebody has broken her embrace! She is determined to not be defeated, so she heads back to Asgard to enlist the aid of someone who can help her get rid of Jane Foster- the Executioner!

The beastly blacksmith is smitten- as all men are- with the lovely Enchantress, and is quite willing to do whatever she requests. He heads to Earth to find Jane Foster. Meanwhile, Don Blake is searching the city for Jane and coming up empty, so he changes to Thor for better luck. He hears through the grapevine that someone fitting the description of the Executioner is on the loose, and he knows he must act fast! At that same moment, the Executioner has tracked down Jane Foster in a crowd. He grabs her and throws her into a vortex he creates by spinning his battle axe, sending her to Limbo. Thor catches up to him and demands to know what he has done with Jane Foster. A terrible fight breaks out between the two, with their fisticuffs ending in a stalemate.

The Executioner brokers a deal where Thor will give him his hammer if he reveals where he sent Jane Foster. Thor agrees, as Jane is most important to him. The Executioner thinks possessing the hammer will win him the Enchantress, but not only can he not pick up the hammer, but the Enchantress is furious that he has double-crossed her and returned Jane Foster! She turns him into a tree and then turns her attention to Thor. She tries to depower his hammer with her spells, but the magical hammer resists. Her power and beauty cannot get Thor to capitulate, and the Thunder God whirls his hammer and sends them back to Asgard.

Later, Dr. Don Blake catches up to Jane, but she treats him with an icy glare after seeing him with his "new blonde girlfriend." As Blake tries to explain, Odin looks down and is furious his favorite son is still chasing after a mortal.
