Synopsis: While Daredevil cruises the city in search of Stilt-Man, he comes across Spider-Man facing off against a trio of car thieves. He swings down and helps Spidey take care of business, and tells him to keep a look out for Stilt-Man. Meanwhile, the aforementioned villain is coordinating a plan of evil with his new partner, the Masked Marauder. They scope out the Marauder's keen-looking new helicopter, fitted with a deadly invisible force field around it that disintegrates whatever touches it! They plan to use the helicopter and their combined powers to kidnap Foggy Nelson, Matt Murdock and Karen Page, for the Masked Marauder feels that is the key to getting at Daredevil!

Stilt-Man surprises the legal team by tossing a sleep gas bomb into their office, then carrying them off to the waiting helicopter. He leaves behind a note to Daredevil, warning the Man Without Fear of the fate that awaits his friends should he not surrender to them. As they fly off, the Marauder activates the force field and Stilt-Man ties up their cargo. When Matt awakens, he overhears the duo discussing their plan to threaten Daredevil with his hostage friends, and he tells them he knows who Daredevil is- his twin brother, Mike Murdock. Karen is shocked at the act of betrayal, but Matt assures her that he was only doing it to save them, and that Mike will handle them anyway.

The Marauder lowers the helicopter, turns off the force field, and Stilt-Man is off to locate his quarry. He figures he can break into a jewelry store and perhaps attract the attention of Daredevil, but instead, he attracts the attention of the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man! The webhead crashes into the store and starts punching out the Stilt-Man.

In the helicopter, the Masked Marauder decides to start killing the hostages, and is ready to toss Matt out the door so he will burn up in the force field. Matt head butts the Marauder, causing him to fall back and bump into the force field buttong, thus turning it off. Matt leaps outside the copter and changes into Daredevil, then swings back in as Karen starts pushing the Masked Marauder around! DD swings inside the helicopter cabin and knocks the Marauder around- in the fight, the force field is turned back on, and Foggy and Karen fight to regain control of the helicopter.

Karen rips off the mask of the Marauder to reveal Frank Farnum! He then announces he will kill all of them with his blast gun, but DD punches him in the jaw and knocks him out the helicopter door, where he seemingly disintegrates against the force field.

Down in the city streets, Stilt-Man escapes from Spider-Man and tries to get back to the helicopter, where he finds Daredevil waiting for him. He fires an electrically-activated ray gun at DD, but finds that wasn't such a great idea, for he was standing in the waters of the East River. The massive electrical shock knocks him out and causes him to oscillate back down to normal height. The battle is over...
