Script: Zeb Wells
New Warriors #1: "Pilot" The New Warriors reunite for a television pilot for a reality show that is devoted to portraying a "small town" super-hero team. In Fairbury, Illinois, Tigershark and Armadillo are lying low after their escape from the super-villain prison The Vault. New Warriors make their first mission the apprehension of the two bad guys, and settle into life as reality TV show starts, with reshoots of key scenes and being under the thumb of the producer named Ashley.
New Warriors #2: "Animal House" In Salina, Kansas, multi-millionaire zoo owner John Burrows releases all his animals from captivity. The New Warriors arrive to round up the animals, but a representative from SPOTA (Society for the Protection Of Television Animals) arrives to make their lives miserable, threatening them not to hurt the animals. Namorita, Microbe and Spedball wind up trapped inside the zoo by Burrows while the rest of the team rides in to rescue them all from the Super Apes, who are actually behind all the escapades at the zoo.
New Warriors #3: "How Many Super Heroes Does It Take...?" The Warriors' van breaks down on the way to the next town. Meanwhile, Ashley pitches the show to reluctant Hollywood money people, who think the small town angle won't play with audiences. Ashley goes over all the different personalities on the show with producers and explains how they joined the team. In the end, the producers approve the show but determine they want more conflict, so they decide to add a new member to the team that will introduce that conflict....
New Warriors #4: "Nucar, Nutown, Numember" In the auto factory town of Nuponder, Michigan, housepets are disappearing. The Warriors visit Nuponder, which is a gleaming, sterile and super-efficient town that manufactures German automobiles. The pet stalker appears to be Terrax the Terrible, and the team stakes him out. The stake out is disturbed by "new" New Warrior, Debrii. Her sudden appearance and the confusion that sets in thereafter allows Terrax to escape, and the team does not take well to her. Later, Terrax is revealed to be a robotic construct, and the true source of the pet disappearances is revealed to be Albert Einstein, Virginia Woolf and Sigmund Freud!
New Warriors #5: "The New Warriors' Excellent Adventure" The bad guys in Nuponder reveal themselves to be robots formerly in the control of the Mad Thinker, and the stolen pets were merely a ruse to get the New Warriors' attention. The Warriors square off against the robots and eventually Debrii and Microbe save the day.
New Warriors #6: "The Valley of the Jerks" The team heads to Smyrna, Delaware, a town which has elected the Corruptor as mayor. The van runs into an old couple who are able to beat up Speedball, and they also find the rest of the townspeople to be rude and violent. The team heads off to the mayor's mansion, where they find the Corruptor is "harvesting his sweat" in order to influence the town. The New Warriors come under the influence of the Corruptor and fight amongst each other, and only Microbe has a clear head and takes out the Corruptor. Ashley tells the team the show has been cancelled.
